J.P.Duminy scores century-South Africa Frustrates Australia.


Winning the first test match against Australia in Perth, South Africa came on to field in Melbourne boxing day match.Australia managed to put on a decent score on bowlers track.Australia scored 394 ,of that Ponting made a century gaining his form back.In the second day South Africa found difficult to bat on as they kept losing wickets regularly.At the end of second day’s play South Africa were 184 for  7 with J.P.Duminy and P.Harris at the crease.At the start of third day’s play South African batsmen pitted themselves in pitch and showed their skill.Harris got out in the middle at 36 and it was the partnership between J.P.Duminy and Steyn created the pressure on Australia.Duminy scored a crucial century while Steyn made half century which was really needed at that time(Stunning knock).Australian bowlers were frustrated and Ponting trusted his part time bowlers.But nothing worked out.Dale Steyn got out at 76 and with 5 wickets in the innings(on high note).After that Duminy was dismissed at 166 and South Africa was 459 and lost all the wickets.With 65 runs in lead (SA) which would be never expected by the Australians put them back in the game.

Now,M.Hayden and Katich batting their second innings with single digit score and tomorrow the day 4 could be the decider.
