Kumble retires!

Anil Kumble retires

The veteran Indian leg spinner has decided to quit from the international cricket today. The jumbo has declared that he will be retiring from his Cricketeing career today after the Match 3 between India and Australia ends.Kumble took this decision after he suffered from series of injuries.

Talks have been made earlier after the decision of Ganguly to retire, that Kumble could announce his retirement. But the jumbo denied all those reports and played the match against the Australia. But in the second match he was unfit because of shoulder injury and Dhoni captained the side and claimed a historic win.He may be hazed to take this decision due to his injuries and also for paving the way for young bowlers.

Kumble was the only Indian leg spinner who has crossed 600 wickets and he is next to Murali and Shane Warne. He was the one who discoverd the googly and utilised well to convert those deliveries into wickets.Kumble has been regularly dropped and picked and only when he became as a captian his presence in the team was a constant one and that too became very doubtful.Kumble is the only Indian Cricketer to claim 10 wickets in an innings. His contribution to the team will never be forgotten and he ends his career in a high.Kumble also found a historic win for India against Australian in Perth which has been entered into the cricketing history. He believes in hardwork and his age will tell you about his hard work. His decision to quit was an astonishing one siince he decided to quit after the Delhi test.He could have announced his retirement after the series, but who knows something might happened.

However, the Indian team will miss his experience and also will miss a great fighter for the team.
